Welcome to Château Tourmentine |
|
|
In 1986 Armelle and Jean-Marie Huré settled on a 30 acres vineyard. Today it has achieved 83 acres.
While caring for traditional wine production methods, they managed to
modernize them, allowing their wines to become ones of the most
renowned of the "Appellation d’Origine ContrôIée" (guaranteed vintage)
Bergerac and Saussignac.
Since 2009, the wines are all organic wines.
|
Since they arrived on the vineyard, Armelle and Jean-Marie Huré have
completely restored their buildings in their original style, classified
as "old typical houses".
In 2001 a part
of the buildings were
converted into a wine storehouse for barrels and a tasting room while the other
part was fitted as cottage with a swimming pool for 12 people.
